CoDD youtube channel

Hey everyone,

i know im not a real member yet but i had this idea to start a CoDD youtube channel, I don't know if any of you own an youtube account and upload videos with it. I do, i can make promo's, edits, gameplays etc etc.

And its could be a way to start earning money(mostly for Crispe since he paid for the server) because if your video's are getting enough views, you could get a partnership wich means youtube is going to pay you for the videos you make. And if the channel get's really big, its possible to get partnered by machinima, then you start even more money.

Don't get me wrong, its not easy to grow a channel, but it looks fun to me.

please tell me what you think about it.

Sorry for the late response was kinda busy.

Great idea i hope it will be big channel and help crispe with the server costs.

Im busy editing the clips i got, if anyone gets a clip please contact me so i can maybe put it in the promo and if we get many clips maybe make an teamtage

And i would like your opinion on what kinda song the promo should have.
It could be trailer music, for epicness. Dubstep or DnB for energetic/ overedit. Rock for making it look extra cool etc etc.

Xwiix i think in my opinion dubstep will be perfect for a promo. Drum'n'bass or rock is more for a frag movie. (btw im a musician so i know *cocky* ) If i have any clips of mine that are good. Il send you A.S.A.P. and plus here is a link for a dubstep that will fit perfectly.

I'd like to submit some clips to you, but how do you want me to submit them to you and where can i submit them too you?

You can record the clips from theater mode (preferebly in 0.1 speed and 30 fps(so i can make it 300fps)) and upload it on mediafire.com and then send the link to me(dm or xfire or anything else you can think of).

And dont forget when you start recording to hide the legend(f1) otherwise you get an ugly box at the bottom of the screen

Oh and i have an question for y'all: do you prefer 3d text or flat text with cool effects?

Oh, I've recorded my footage with 720P with ~61 FPS and when i edited it i just cut the rest of the footage out and made it 29,97 FPS i hope thats good enough.

im editing all the clips together, making cinematics, motion tracking them, syncing clips, trying to get more clips etc etc. I dont know how long it'll take to finish it, making the 3d text fit into the cinematics is kinda hard itself. Editing takes a long time you know

One suggestion though, don't go too crazy with the editing, because i checked your channel out somewhat and it was waaaaaay over the top on the editing side.
Couldn't even make out what game you were playing in your montages...

i know lol, an promo isnt meant to be overedited and in the parts ive already you clearly see its mw3

Now something serious, i need some more gameplay like 4-5man feeds and some cool footage from our custom gamemodes like isnipe and the jug infected to show ppl we have the best server

And something else i would like to point out: if anyone wants to learn all the things about after effects and/3d motion tracking, please contact me, i'd be happy to teach anything^^

You can't do that in Paint (I use Paint for video editing)

Also, yeah.. i tried learning after effects but it got too much for me, so I'm sticking with Magix Movie Edit Pro

BTW if my information isn't outdated you can only partner gaming channels that are run by directors of large gaming channels like machinima...
